The Gold Treasure - Treasure Hunt for Children
THE TREASURE OF CAMPO
The "THE TREASURE OF CAMPO" project is a true journey to discover the history and values of this land between mountains and lake. Along the trail, immersed in nature and the atmosphere of bygone times, young explorers will find signs telling the stories of people who lived in real life or come from imagination and popular tradition, such as Margherita, called "the Mayor," the Seven Brothers, Cecilia with the Long Braid, and many others.
Please note: The "Treasure of Campo" treasure hunt is a free and permanent educational trail.
Special features of the trail:
The mule track runs partly on asphalt and partly on dirt roads and has a moderate elevation gain. It is suitable for adults and children (the use of a baby carrier or backpack is recommended for babies).
The entire route, including the treasure hunt stages, takes approximately two hours. Little explorers will enjoy completing the 14 stages that lead to the discovery of the "Treasure of Campo." In some stages, they will find value words that they can mark on a map. Once all the required words are found, they will receive a small gadget as a souvenir.
Aim:
- To preserve the historical memory of these enchanting places and the people who lived or loved them there.
- To encourage people to reflect on the values and virtues around which the entire educational trail is built: humility, courage, enthusiasm, kindness, altruism, respect, gratitude, bravery, and knowledge.
Subject Skills:
- To promote outdoor education, fostering motor, emotional, and relational development, as well as decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- To use a map to help them navigate the open space.
Who is it suitable for: For everyone, young and old.
